THE EKM TEAM

Dr. Erin Moran, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Erin Moran is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Missouri St. Louis. She began her nursing career in emergency medicine in 2014 and expanded her clinical expertise across the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Vascular Access Lab, and psychiatric settings.

Erin's background in acute medicine shapes the way she approaches psychiatric care. She evaluates the whole person - considering how medical conditions, lifestyle, and biology intersect with mental health - and builds treatment plans that reflect that complexity. She specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, and complex or treatment-resistant presentations.

Patients describe Erin as thorough, direct, and genuinely invested in their progress. She believes that good psychiatric care requires both clinical rigor and real partnership, and she brings both to every appointment.

Erin uses measurement-based care, pharmacogenomic testing, and evidence-based treatment protocols to guide her clinical decision-making. She is committed to care that is not only compassionate but defensible, transparent, and results-oriented.

Alissa Boyer, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Alissa Boyer is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. She began her nursing career in emergency medicine in 2019 and has since developed broad clinical experience across emergency, behavioral health, and inpatient psychiatric settings.

Alissa approaches psychiatric care with the same thoroughness she developed in high-acuity medical environments. She takes time to understand the full picture - including how physical health, stress, and life circumstances contribute to psychiatric symptoms - and uses that understanding to develop treatment plans that are grounded, individualized, and realistic.

She is known for creating a clinical environment that feels both structured and comfortable. Patients appreciate her ability to explain complex diagnoses and treatment options in plain language, and her commitment to following through on the goals they set together.

Alissa sees adults and adolescents with a range of diagnoses and welcomes patients who are new to psychiatric care as well as those looking for a fresh perspective on long-standing concerns.

Danielle Bellis, LMHC

Danielle Bellis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and older adults. She earned her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Seton Hall University in 2012 and has built a clinical practice grounded in trauma-informed care, the therapeutic relationship, and a deep respect for each client's unique experience.

Danielle works with individuals navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, panic disorders, substance use, chronic pain, and major life transitions. She draws on person-centered and evidence-based approaches to help clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and build the resilience needed to move through difficult periods - and beyond them.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. She creates a space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported, while also being challenged to grow. Danielle believes that therapy is not only a tool for symptom relief but a meaningful path toward self-awareness, stronger relationships, and a more grounded sense of self.

Danielle partners closely with EKM's psychiatric providers to offer coordinated, integrated care for patients who benefit from both therapy and medication management.

Katie Green, Practice Manager

Katie Green brings over a decade of experience in patient coordination, practice management, and client relations to her role at EKM Psychiatry. Her background spans veterinary medicine and clinical operations, where she developed a strong foundation in scheduling, billing, care coordination, and attentive client communication.

Before joining EKM Psychiatry, Katie served as both a Lead Veterinary Technician and Practice Manager, roles that required her to manage complex patient care logistics, maintain accurate records, coordinate treatment plans, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients navigating often stressful situations. She also brings procurement and operations experience, having managed vendor relationships and budgets in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Katie is often the first person patients connect with at EKM Psychiatry, and she takes that seriously. She is committed to making every interaction - whether it is scheduling a first appointment, sorting out an insurance question, or following up on paperwork - feel straightforward and stress-free.
